Her Gates Will Never Be Shut: Hell, Hope and the New Jerusalem

Covers: hearing the voice and beholding the face of God in Christ. Developing a life of prayer as an interactive meeting with a living friend. Includes sessions on discernment, prophetic ministry, and/or inner healing upon request. Follow-up weekends available for each of the above sessions.

Covers: ministering with marginalized by encountering Jesus in and with them. Includes sessions on open arms, open hearts, open temple, open table. Emphasis on Isa 58, Matt 25, and the Beatitudes of Matt 5.

Covers: coming to the Cross in Scripture, theology, and experience. We explore themes the violence, justice, reconciliation and victory. Includes a careful look at the New Testament preaching of the Cross as Christ identifying with humanity and our identification with his death and resurrection.

Covers: a careful study of Scripture to assess traditional doctrines of judgment, hell and hope in the afterlife. Includes an emphasis on the biblical possibilities versus our traditional assumptions. Special emphasis on "Gehenna in the Jeremiah-Jesus tradition" and Rev. 21-22 (The New Heavens and the New Earth).
